Usn Model 1860 Ames Cutlass Dated 1863 No ReserveThe civil awr u. S. N. Ames model 1860 cutlass dated 1863 si in good condition. The pommel is stamped dr, the leather grip looks to have been rewrapped a long time ago. The brass knuckle guard is stamped 25m / 250. The ricasso is stamped with, anchor, u. S. N, dr, and 1863. The oher side bearly visible is ames mfg co. The overall lenght is 32 and the blade is 26 with a blood groove on both sides. Original piece of naval history.
